Dear Sir/Madam
With so much information in the press about Thames Water’s failures and debts I have become concerned that I am not receiving the services that Thames Water is legally obliged to provide and that my bill is therefore inaccurate and misleading.
Please clarify why full wastewater charges are being made when the treatment of wastewater is not taking place.
Alternatively insert after “please clarify why” any of Thames misdemeanours (see our ‘Background Notes’ page) that particularly annoys you
I look forward to your response so that I can be confident that what I am paying to access the basic necessity of water is actually being spent on provision of the same.
I would note that while my query about the accuracy of my bill is outstanding, you should not pursue me for payment. I will assume therefor that my account will be on hold until receive a satisfactory answer to my query.
