Boycott Thames Water brings together customers in the Thames Water area who are considering or are already withholding water bill payments. By sharing information and advice we hope to support one another in challenging the private profiteers exploiting our most precious resource, water. Our boycotting campaign tells the Government they must prioritise the interests of bill payers and the environment over those of investors and take water back into public ownership. The group first came together around the beginning of 2024. It is loosely organised, self-funded and entirely independent of any political party. We welcome collaboration with other campaign groups and individuals and have no ‘membership’ requirement. Any records we keep are managed in full compliance with the Data Protection Act.
The group has a steering committee which anyone is welcome to join. We seek people with passion who are willing to take on tasks. People with specialist skills are particularly needed to help with tasks like updating our social media accounts and creating content for our website. If you would like to help please contact us at [email protected].
